On Board ‘Freedom’
Greenline fish club had its weekend away from Friday 13th to
Monday 16th of August 2004 at Weymouth.
Two days fishing was planned aboard the Catamaran Freedom,
a Blyth 33, fast at 28 knots plus. Fast, smooth and plenty of
space for all. We motored out stopping a wrecks on the way,
the fishing was steady, but no big fish, the biggest was my
Ling at about 12lbs. Other fish caught included, Pollock
gurnard, dog fish and granddaddy pouting. Due to engine problems after towing in a motor launch broken down 27miles out, our second
days fishing was cancelled.
